Tomos 1 table lamp by Kazuhide Takahama for Sirrah, late 1970s, early 1980s.
The lamp is part of the iconic series, designed by the Japanese architect and designer (Bolognese by adoption) for Sirrah of Imola, a prestigious lighting company founded by Dino Gavina.
The elegant and sinuous design of the lamp is expressed in multiple configurations, the first arched support is rigid and rotates on the base, while the upper arm is totally flexible and takes on the desired shapes depending on the use.
The original Sirrah label is present.
The diffuser is made of opal methacrylate, while the heavy base is made of steel.
It fits a standard E27 lamp holder for halogen or LED bulbs, not supplied.
Excellent condition, vintage, no breaks or cracks, only minimal superficial signs.
